Noel, your brewing method sounds fine (and tasty). 30 minutes brewing time is really long for jiaogulan. I usually brew for just 2 or 3 minutes. Because you are blending with other teas you probably don’t notice the difference. But that long of brewing time is likely to make jiaogulan bitter.

Thanks! Very informative video. I use your Jiaogulan every morning with a mix of loose green tea, diced fresh ginger, and processed ginseng tea; I put all this into a ‘larger’ size stainless steel tea ball; pour boiling water over it and let it sit for about half an hour or so, and drain the tea ball a couple of times in the process. Please advise if you recommend a different steeping process. I also take a Jiaogulan capsule every morning with my other supplements Based on your video, I may start having a mug of Jiaogulan tea at dinnertime!
