The phrase Ben Shan literally translates as “the source mountain.” We’ve taken the liberty of calling it the more English friendly “Spring Mountain.” Either way, we hope the name communicates the idea of renewing an old idea by starting anew or returning to the origin. Our Ben Shan oolong tea is produced in one of the oldest and most respected tea growing regions in China, Anxi in the Fujian province. For you tea experts, this oolong should be classified as a jade oolong. It is lightly oxidized and retains a beautiful green color. The aroma is very floral and the taste is bright and fresh. This is a great thirst quencher tea.
